A Little History of the World

By E. H. Gombrich. Written for children but read equally by grown ups. Gombrich writes as if he’s sitting with you, telling you the story himself. A beautifully illustrated book which leaves you feeling fascinated and informed in a way that history lessons at school could only dream of.
